The Amador Hotel Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization created to preserve the historic Amador building and develop a public re-use for the building consistent with its history.

Goals & Objectives of the Foundation:
- Articulate to the City leaders and NM legislators the conceptual plan for the Amador restoration project to gain support and public funding
- Assist the City leaders in the Amador restoration through a public-private partnership to make the Amador a southern NM Landmark again
- Put structures in place to raise private funds to support areas that cannot utilize public funds focusing on operations and support
- Provide the public interface for key events in the Amador restoration, NM
- Centennial celebration and other significant events
- Put the process in place to make the Amador self-sufficient over many years
- Assist the City leaders in the Amador restoration through a public-private partnership to make the Amador a southern NM Landmark again
